LIFE IS GOOD.

I realize that light seems to be a reoccurring theme in these posts.  I think it’s because light is so symbolic of “hope” and as the semester and undergrad college career are coming to and end, I’m finally seeing the light.  The stress is starting to fade, and different experiences are more satisfying.

Today was a very good day, so I wanted to express this joyous feeling visually.   It was a long week, entailing a Discussion paper due Tuesday,  a movie presentation Monday, group meetings and presentation rehearsals everyday, and most importantly, 2 very large Psi Chi Presentations:  one with my Sensation and Perception semester long research, and one with my year long 491 Independent Research Group.  It was an exhausting week, as I struggled with an urge to say “UM..” due to nerves and not feeling prepared.

By the end of the week this feeling was gone – I felt ready, my groups felt ready, and it was exciting.  It was time to present, and things went great.  To make things better, I found my dream job online and stayed up until 12:30 am to finish my cover letter and resume. I had not felt this excited about any jobs I had seen thus far on the job hunt, and even if I don’t get the job, it felt good to see that things are out there, and that I got my resume and cover letter sent in.  To make things even better, I found out that my Sensation and Perception team had won!  It is a glorious day.
