Recycle The Media wasn’t one of my favorite assignments, but I’m completing it anyways because, well, we’re required to.  Out of all the media that I found in the link provided, I just decided to download 7 pieces and find audio of them from Freesound.org and then put the audio over the pictures.  This reminded me of the assignment where we had to do something similar with audio/pictures, but it just didn’t interest me that much.  I think I know why though.  For the past few weeks, I’ve been focusing all of my attention on creating video and editing video and now we’re going back to pictures for this assignment.  There’s nothing wrong with that, I’m just a fan of video more than photographs!

I was going to try to find some pictures that were really similar and have them kind of tell some sort of story, but I just couldn’t get myself to agree on any sort of common ground.  Instead, I just went with a more random approach and found pictures that I liked.  I tried to go through and find ones that I could find audio to, and then I just picked out the photos that I found to be most appealing.  There were a lot of great photos in the bunch as well!  I’m not sure why a lot of them were tossed out.  I would have loved to see them put into play for, what I’m guessing is, a lot of daily create assignments.
