I really loved reading–and hearing–about the dread pirate Santa on the Inspire site. The incorporation of a radio broadcast with a more traditional visual design was a really cool idea and lent so much credence to the tale. I’m a big fan :)

And heeere is a previous student’s work–they took a single frame from a visual story (The Pursuit of Happyness) that sums up the entire story. It’s a cool idea, but executing it would be nearly IMPOSSIBLE for me. I have such a horrible time trying to narrow my focus and trying to condense a complicated tale down to a single image? Fuhgettabout it. This is truly impressive–the main character holding up that finished Rubik’s cube is truly iconic of the overall struggle in the film. Kudos.
