WOW! It’s been such a long time since I last posted, but I’m back to the DS106 grind!
Because we had three weeks of time, there were 6 day creates to do. Here are my six:
February 25th: Fold a piece of Origami using a sticky note
This was hard, and took me three different tries, but here is the best origami heart I could make! Any I only had yellow sticky notes, so I guess my heart is a little jaundiced (hehe)
February 26th: Spell “Create” using interesting materials/objects to form the letters.
I used string, paper clips, staples, play dough, pushpins and tape to spell “Create.” Creative, huh?!
March 2nd: Take a photo looking out your best day dreaming window. Include the frame in your shot.
This is a picture of the sliding glass door in my bedroom at my beach house which over looks a lake. I love just looking over the lake!
March 3rd: Write one line from a song that predicts how your day will go, and another for how it really went.
I am a Vice President in a particular campus club and everyday there is some sort of challenge with it. So I try to start everyday off on a positive note. But somedays they just don’t end as positive as they started out.
March 7th: Describe one unusual small thing that brings you joy, e.g. driving under an underpass in the rain.
I wrote about my love of watching wedding videos. It may be weird to most, since I’m not married or engaged. But I really enjoy it, which is all that matters.
March 14th: Take a picture of something you collect.
I don’t purposefully collect anything. But over the past couple of years, I’ve gotten into ribbon. I used ribbon in DIY projects and sometimes I just buy ribbon with no intent in mind. So I guess to some degree you could say I have a ribbon collection. Right now I’m running a little low, but here is what I have right now!
Well that’s my six daily creates! I’ve missed these little assignments and I’m happy to be back and working on some fun and creative assignments!
