As a culture, speaking very generally, we take selfies of everything we do. Even before it was a “thing” we were taking “selfies” in our lives even if it wasn’t with a camera. A culture of appearance has crept into our daily regimen. We must look, act, believe, create, etc. etc., a certain way to be accepted and to be a “success”. The idea of framing ourselves in just the right way, right where we need to be, to get the most attention or recognition has become second nature… it is very bizarre… or is it? Here is a selfie of me taking out the recycling. That is the bin for our whole hallway btw… I don’t want to give the wrong impression (wink wink).
