This was an awesome assignment. The basic gist of it is that we were to find a website and alter the coding of it to develop our own story. Of course to have a story, it has to be interesting. The idea of a comet hitting earth sounded like an attention-grabber to me. I didn’t want it to be all gloomy though, so I made it humorous and magnetized some of our social short-comings in it. For example, I made Justin Bieber a trending topic. The joke was that even though the world is ending, people will still be tweeting about him and not spending time with their families.
