I was pretty intrigued at first glance with this design assignment so I took a look at “The Big Caption” and really enjoyed the tongue-in-cheek nature of what they do. I went to the big picture on boston.com and found this photo of smoke from wildfires consuming Arizona and couldn’t help but take a jab at UC Boulder’s rather notorious reputation for indulging in certain herbal practices in large quantities. Boulder actually does celebrate 420 in such a manner I suggest anyone look up pictures and videos it is quite a sight. The composition was pretty simple to put together I simply used photoshop, which I have been playing around with but have yet to really uncover some of the more advanced features so if anyone has any suggestions or tips on using photoshop I would really appreciate it.
