This assignment was so frustrating but I’m glad I finally figured out everything out. My second attempt was initially discouraging because my text editor would not agree with me. I ended up having to download TextWrangler because every time I pasted my HTML into TextEdit the program would try to render the code instead of just leaving it in text form. After I created a local copy of my website everything else was pretty easy. I’m obsessed with Harry Potter and had way too much fun making this Facebook- even if I did have to do it twice. Overall, I’m really happy with the way it turned out! All the images I used on the page came from Flickr; if you click an image it will direct you to the page from which it came.

Spoiler alert! I created the Facebook page to go along with the timeline of the series and portray the characters’ lives in 2011… so if you haven’t read the books or seen the most recent movie, just warning you, my page might give away a few things!

One last frustration: I cannot upload the screen shot of my website to Flickr so I just uploaded it to my blog for now.
