Tim Okamura

Finally had a chance to visit some art galleries in the city last week and the one which struck me the most was Tim Okamura’s exhibition. His paintings have so much depth and are so realistic its as if  you can reach out and touch them and they’ll react like they’re alive. I also like how he incorporates an urban city like NYC into his paintings. The graffiti in the background as well as the subjects he chooses to paint really give off an NYC flavor. His work is most definitely on my radar. Below is some of his work as well as a link to a brief video of him speaking on who he is. This is some inspiring stuff, in my opnion.
