Visual Assignment: Fat Cats Make Art Better

The assignment:  ”Using this site: http://fatcatart.ru/category/klassy-ka/ as a platform for ideas, and using Photoshop (or something like it) as your tool, place a fat cat into a photo of a classic art piece. The goal is to make it convincing: make the art become on with the cat.

Most of all, enjoy! :0) And remember, fat cats make art better.”

I’ve always thought that her arms looked like they were missing something, and this cat looked like it needed a lap to sit in.
I used photoshop to insert this cat.  I put the cat on the Mona Lisa, and erased the cat where her arms were and it seemed to work pretty well.  I then used the burn tool to make it look like there was a shadow where her arms are over his legs. I thought this was a fun assignment, and it’s nice having an excuse to mess around with photoshop.  I never thought I’d be Googleing fat cats and then placing in on a piece of fine art.
