Confessions Of An Enlightened Woman

I am personally responsible for all my past failed relationships. I owe you all my Ex’s an apology. Sincerely, coming from deep within me, I know, and YES I know it was my fault. IT WAS MY FAULT. It was my fault to have been too timid. It was my fault to not have known I was beautiful enough . It was my fault to have thought I wasn’t good enough for a “good man”. It was my fault to not have known myself fully. It was my fault to not have had self-esteem and confidence. It was my fault to have been emotionally incompetent. Yes all the break-ups were my fault for settling for the least because I did not believe in MYSELF, because I did not know MY WORTH, because, I did not think I was BEAUTIFUL ENOUGH. It was my fault for ever thinking: “that man I wanted” was too good, too cute, too handsome, and too smart for me. It was my fault to have gone into his past to dig deep to find the women he dated, and say to myself “I stand no chance”. HOW DARE I to have even compared myself to another? Another BEAUTIFUL woman in her own way. It was my fault to have not been conscious of my INNER beauty. It was my fault to have equated my beauty to a “culturally defined” one. It was entirely my FAULT!!. I have no one BUT MYSELF TO BLAME.

But I can make it right. Because every day is a chance to get it right. I have discovered my inner-self. My inner beauty. AND GOD!! I am amazed at its magnificent. I have discovered myself. When the Queen in me emerged, she was calm and enchanted, she was happy, bold, confident, and her sense of possibilities contagious. She shines. She knows her WORTH; she knows she is BEAUTIFUL, No!!! Her beauty is not from the clothes or jewelries she wears…. it’s an inner beauty she possesses… one so radiant it shines around her. Others smell and feel it. Yes she knows that. She wears it as a smile, as a bold walk in a crowd, and as a sassy “hello” on her lips. She knows she is BEAUTIFUL.

She is and will get it right next time, because she knows her WORTH, her BEAUTY, her PURPOSE, and herself.

To all my WOMEN still on the JOURNEY to DISCOVER YOURSELVES and INNER Beauty. There is more to you than you know. Make the conscious effort to discover yourself, for once you do; you will be much at peace with yourself and the decisions you make. You will consciously and subconsciously affect other women around you positively. I will recommend to any woman still on this journey or yet to embark on it to read “ A woman’s Worth” by Marianne Williamson.
