For the video essay video assignment I chose to do a analysis on The Dark Knight. In order to make the movie analysis, I went to youtube and carefully chose clips that I wanted to talk about. In particular I went into detail regarding the outlay of characters and their roles in the film, and Harvey Dent being two-faced. I also went into detail of Harvey Dent’s action of flipping the coin. I used iMovie in order to edit all the video that I got off of youtube, put my voice recording in, and add a introduction and credit page to the beginning and end. I also used flash in and flash out editing tools to make cool effects in between clips. This assignment was a tone of fun. At first I was hesitant about editing video’s, but after completing this assignments I’m ready to take on my next.
