I chose to make a silent film for this video assignment. I watched the first silent film version of Alice in Wonderland and I was inspired. I attempted to make this first in Windows Live Movie Maker but it didn’t have the effects that I wanted. So, I looked around at other peoples assignments and I decided to download VideoPad. It has a really cool effect called “old film” that had all of the effects that I wanted! Unfortunately, it did not have a wide variety of text options so I think this video is failing in the font department. I could have remedied that by saving the video and then opening it back into Windows Movie Maker, but I think it still turned out great! I found the music at this really interesting site called Incompetech. I think it turned out pretty cool! I like the opening scene best. Enjoy!
