For the Final Exam Blog, I will pick number 3 for responding.
Here is my final blog of this semester!!

Internet has been dramatically wide spreading in our society today. Everyone use Internet to communicate with people from all over the world, shopping, playing online games, downloading movies and songs, and having fun with Facebook or Twitter so-called Social Network Systems. Many of people say that the Internet is the best invention today. I think so too. The reason is that is because I can communicate with friends or people on SNS site such as Facebook. For example, the article “Facebook makes people more social”  states that “Facebook brings all our different networks and social scenes together. We present ourselves in different ways, whether to friends, co-workers, or family”. In fact most people have a trouble with enlarging social network, or making friends or communicating with people. However, the Internet especially SNS brings our social connection bigger. In addition, Japan has huge issue of communication among people. Japanese SNS solve the problem and enhance the chance to enlarge social connections. For example, the article “Mixi, Japan’s Biggest Social Network” from the web site says Mixi is the biggest social networking site in Japan, and it’s growing rapidly and has 4.8 million users. So that, after Japanese SNS, mixi introduced, Japanese people started to enlarge the social connection. I strongly think that the best aspect of the Internet is SNS and communicating with people and enlarging social connections.

Today, the social media are wide spreading everywhere and make our life fascinating.
For example, "Facebook" and "Twitter" gives us entertainments!!
With the social media development "Malware" , malicious software that contain elaborate designed programming to destroy PC operation, hacking information data, and losing person’s privacy, we became easier to lose the information from our computer. We learned about Malware in the class so far, and it was on the class quiz. So, I assume that most of you guys have some knowledge of Malware.
I have several experiences that I got Malware in my computer. For example, when I was staying at the Hotel, I, first, could not connect the Internet because of my anti-virus system. So, I called hotel stuff to fix my laptop. After he fixed my laptop, I was trying to check my email. At the moment, Malware attack my laptop and start to steal my information data. The reason I got Malware on my computer is because the hotel stuff somehow delete my portion of anti-virus system contains anti-malware.

Also, one thing I think that I have gotten Malware on my computer is because some of my information which I entered some random website, somehow, disclosed to the random other site. So, I am pretty sure that I got Malware and they were hacking my information from my computer.


Not relates to my case, but I learned from the class that we have high possibility getting Malware through Facebook and Twitter.  Specially, Facebook contains a lot of personal information data, so we must need to be careful of Malware when we open Facebook, or especially got friends adding action.


To prevent the distraction by Malware, we have to install strong anti-virus system, setting powerful firewall, and anti-spay ware system.


Now, I am going introduce YouTube video clip that explain about the procedure of protection from Malware attack.



Not only this anti-virus system that introduced in the video clip, but also there are a lot of good anti-virus system that you can remove Malware!!

Beside I am using Norton security software.

The innovation for the Internet.

After I read "History of the Internet in Nutshell ", I strognly believe the internet has been developing continuasly. One of the most significant innovation of the internet is "social media" such as my space, facebook, twitter, flickr,etc. The article explains social media as following. 

The term "social media", believed to be first used by Chris Sharpley, was coined in the same year that "Web 2.0" became a mainstream concept. Social media–sites and web applications that allow its users to create and share content and to connect with one another–started around this period.

I believe that the most important thing for emerging the social media is people can share their idea, photos, knowledge, and they can also have communication in the web site.
I am facebook user, and sign in facebook several times a day. In the Cyberspace & Society class, I start to use new social media: flickr, the dailyshoot and twitter. I found out that fusion of Flicker and the dailyshoot is actually very fun,becasue I can uploade special phots that is assigned by the dailyshoot everyday. Before I knew the dailyshoot and flicker, I usually upload phots to facebook. For the facebook I don't really have to care about what to upload, but for the flicker and the dailyshoot, I have thought a lot to uploade photo, because some of phots that I am taking is not suite for the subject of the dailyshoot assignment.

Anyway, what I found most interesting part of the dailyshoot and flickr is we can actually share the ideas through the daily photos. Because everybody uploade photos with same topic, which means the each photos reflects each persons idea or viewpoint for each topic. 
Not only flickr and the dailyshoot, but also twitter is very interesting tool to share the ideas or viewpoints. For twitter, we can share our opinion or ideas whenever we want within 140 characters.
The important point is that we can share anytime we cant. I believe that anyone can sharing ideas in the internet is very meaningful because not everyone can share their opinions in the real world.

Not only sharing idea, but social media also makes it possible to share the knowledge. For example, I believe that it is ok to categorize "wikipedia" as one of the social media because it is able to share the accademic knowledge. Anyone can edit wikipedia and compile the knowledge of the all over the world makes "wikipedia". I think it is very impress thing.





PS: I cannot imagin what kind of social media comes next , but I think LinkedIn will be the useful tool in Japan and the US, because facebook is now popular in Japan, and LikedIn is somewhat looks like facebook but it have to include more accurate personal information, so I think that many Japanese companies introduce LinkedIn to find Business partners.
