so it’s been a while, and I’m sorry for not updating this as much as I did during school. The lack of a computer is my only excuse but that should not be an excuse for my tardiness.

The end of the year is near, and I have some updates!

I have interned at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts, here, in Virginia Beach. I’ve been working between three offices: productions, marketing, and cultural affairs. I’ve learned a lot about theater, and marketing but not a lot about what cultural affairs… But that’s okay I guess. I’ve realized that I really enjoy being able to create products instead putting in inputs for a final product. It’s the artists side of me, I guess.

I’ve recently been hired at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Virginia Beach as a gallery assistant, which is definitely the direction I really want to be going towards. So I’m pretty excited about this news! Although this job is a on and off part time, I get to work in a AAM accredited museum. YES! WORK! not intern or volunteer but WORK!

But that’s about it. Not have been working on art lately. Disappointing news, I know. However, I’m trying to do linocuts as a christmas gift this year since I’m tight on my budget for gifts.
