The Challenges Of Not Having Face to Face Contact With A Professor

In modern school life now, you wont see most students eager to take an online class, mainly because they want the face to face contact with their professors in a traditional class setting. People tend to wait till their upperclassmen to take any online class, because then they feel like they can handle the work better now that their older. I feel like if your mature enough to take an online class, then you should take it. The challenges of not having face to face contact with the professor would be the following: the tests are over filled information, you have a time limit on your online work, you only see the professor once a week (if that), you cant take notes to look back on for review and none the less you cant interact with other students to help you with work or to study with. I personally am okay with taking an online class and not being able to see my professor but once a week. The real hump that you have to jump over to be successful in an online class with no interaction with the professor, would be: to stay on top of work at all times, check your computer 24/7, stay up to date on software on your computer, know how to use the software that is required in your class, use social media to talk to your friends about the work and lastly is to go see your professor at their office with any questions or concerns.
