One thing that I really wish I could do is participate in Slam Poetry.  I think that these people are extremely talented because not only are they poets but they are performers, comedians, actors/actresses, and are writing amazing things.  This poem, “That Girl”, is my favorite.  Alysia Harris is so talented and I am so jealous of her.  Her voice itself makes you want to listen and then she puts so much emotion behind her words that you become glued to your computer screen.  I watched her performance at least 20 times and watched everything else by her.  I also really love Joshua Bennett.  He is extremely talented as well.  I am in the process of watching my own slam poem and MAYBE I will embarrass myself in an attempt to be like these poets and post mine on my blog.  Maybe!  Anyways, When you are bored do yourself a favor and youtube slam poetry and see what comes up.  I guarantee you will not be disappointed because these people are extremely talented.
