“Something that reminds you how old you feel”  …hmm this one kind of hit home for me. I’ve loved everything about nature since i was young, and i’ve always told myself that one day i was going to wake up early, or drive out late, to this one spot i picked out on Long island and catch a sunset or sunrise.

It’s been 3 years since i’ve set this goal, and here i am 3 years later without this experience that i had planned for myself.  Every sunset and sunrise that goes by, i feel older, i feel that i should be in my spot, soaking it in, taking in the fullness of the rise or submersion.  I’ve seen many sunrises, and i love the experience, but nothing will fully satisfy me until i’ve seen one in my special place.  And when im ready i will…one day.
