For the past 3 years, i’ve been working as a substitute paraprofessional for the school district that i went to as a kid. I do a lot of one on one work with autistic children, and children with other learn disabilities.  I love this job, i love working with the kids, and it’s definitely great experience being so deeply involved in the classroom.

I’ve met so many amazing kids doing this work, most of whom i’ve worked with many years in a row, and it’s so great to see how much progress these children with learning disabilities are making.  I come from a great district, and the advances they’re making with students on the autism spectrum is astonishing and inspiring.  I’ve learned so much about the education process in my 3 years working in the elementary schools, and I’m always excited and ready to learn more, and establish new relationships.
