In a blogging mood today. I adored this novel. To be honest, it probably took me 2 hours max to finish reading it. This quote is one of my favorites, which I found surfing tumblr. “Pain demands to be felt.” It is so true. If we couldn’t feel pain, then how would we know the difference between pain and happiness. At least it allows you to feel like you conquered something if you can get through hardship. It gives you the determination to work for something.

This novel really got me thinking about the afterlife, and it freaks me out, especially seeing what Augustus had to to say about wasting his life away. I think this makes me realize why I want to teach. I want to do something in my life that will be worthwhile to others. I want to achieve something that will leave an impact on another person. You never know what little thing you can do that can affect someone’s life.
