I talked to Alex about our final projects today. We both are doing movies but rather different types of movies. While I am looking at the life inside of a drummers head and what that entails, Alex is doing a silent movie.

He wants to create the feeling of the old-timey movies, with the burnt screens and various imperfections old films possess. He also had the idea of using cue cards in the movie to inform the audience as well as using subtitles. He also thought about slowing down and speeding up the film at different parts.

Talking with Alex gave me a cool idea for a section of my project. I had the idea for a sequence where i get out of my car, but it is done through quick clips of short sounds in the way I get out.
