Archiving What is Left of a Gold Mine

My grandparents old apartment was filled with old treasures from the 60′s, 70′s and 80′s. Some of the stuff even older. My dad and my aunt cleaned up the place about a year back in hopes of selling the apartment which is proving to be quite uneventful. However, most of the things that the place once held had been either thrown out or relocated to other family member houses. A few things still remain there.

I would love to archive as many precious things as I can from the various years, all once belonging to a middle class family in Queens from the the 1950′s onward. Many items come from different generations such as my father, who is a baby boomer 1950+ and my grandparents (who are no longer with me) from the pre-WWII generation 1930+.

Im hoping to find some great stuff or what little I can and archive from it in some relation to one another.

Here are some examples of the things I have.

1973 benz

1973 Mercedes Benz model

WWII dress blues

World War II Marine Corps Dress Blues.

Jockey Life 1972

Jockey Life A-Shirt from 1972
