Lady Baller

SO, WHATS IN THE TRUNK?

My entire life anytime I would tell someone that I play basketball I seem to get the same reaction, pure disbelief. I used to think it was just because im girl especially since Its always been up for debate whether or not girls are as good as guys on the court. I still believe women do not recieve the recognition they deserve as professionals and ive seen some amazing women ballers. Well, come to find out it wasn’t that at all. I wouldnt say im your typical basketball player. I always wear heals, my makeup is usually done, super glossy lip gloss im a real girly girl. I have to work extra harder and I’ve gained my respect on the court by out scoring the guys or shaking them up a bit, breaking some ankles with my signature move as i put a little spin on it. The cliche’ is never judge a book by its cover so why is it that people always appear to be facinated to see a girly girl scrape the floor with the guys. have we not yet realized that gender does not define skill? I also put in windows and lay cement, im into boxing and MMA but I also love the color pink and hello kitty. I don’t like to define people because I believe humans are too complex to put in a category unless they truly are that simple. Not I. So, apprarently society says you have to look like a boy or be on the butchy side to be recognized as a serious baller. I will prove them wrong every chance I get.
