I think majority of the difficulty in the classroom is lack of experience. Take our class as an example. Most of us have no idea how to set up a blog, let alone, how to use it after we finally created it. I think dipping into new portals of learning are intimidating which is why most people stray from newer technologies. In order for our students to learn and absorb new material in the class, it is crucial that we become masters at whatever devices we choose to use. In order for us to master new devices, we need stop worrying about failure. Learn for the experience. The end result is important, of course, but most of us are in the mindset that if we do not succeed than we have failed. I hate to think that way. The journey is more powerful than the result. I mean, I still do not have a blog set up yet, but once I do I can guarantee that if anyone ever needs help setting up a blog, I will probably know the solution to any problem you are having haha! :)
