As I have stated before I am a transfer student and have already taken most of my English courses but, lost them in the process of changing schools. This is my second time taking English 101, even though it is hybrid I expected to be not that big of a difference than in a lecture class but it’s not. I’m a person who is always on the computer so thats not a problem for me. I had a great instructor the first time I took the course we interacted in class in different ways, did many essays (with interesting topics), and the class was put in a way so it will be enjoyable and student friendly. This hybrid class is good but I feel like even though we’re doing blogs, wikipedia, and interacting with our peers about challenges, it’s not really helping. The way that made me enjoy my last class was that we added abstract ways to simple English 101 task such as, we would go outside the classroom and draw what we thought about the scenery but it had to be in depth. I like the idea of a hybrid class but, I feel it would be more beneficial if it were done in a different way (we could have different topics to write an essay/blog about).
