The Benefits Of An Hybrid Class vs. Traditional

When your going into college or if your already there your preference might be an hybrid class because it’s easier for you or an traditional class since your use to that setting. I preferably like an hybrid class because of the laid back style type of class it is and plus you have more responsibility on your hands, which I like. Others might choose an traditional class because their use to the setting from their high school days or it might just be easier for them. The benefits of an hybrid class are the following: it teaches you a lot of responsibility, gives you more time on your hands to do the work, the work lets you use more of your imagination and you have more group work with your other students which makes the work easier. The benefits of an traditional setting class is the following: you have more hands on help from the professor and other students, you have less responsibility to deal with in a traditional class, your professor can revise your paper right in front of you and the papers are less strenuous on you. The decision of choosing an hybrid class over the traditional class is a difficult but easy decision at the same time. The work load is a lot different between the two, the way your work is submitted is different, you don’t revise your paper in an hybrid class but you do in an traditional one and lastly the way your professors assign work is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. If it were up to me to tell all freshmen at the beginning of their first semester whether to take an online class or an traditional one then i would most definitely tell them to choose an traditional because most of them couldn’t handle an online class just yet. The responsibility level of an online class, the work load of an online class and the student to professor contact of an online class is so much harder to deal with in college.
