Dear Mom and Dad,

Camp is great! I’ve been taking a lot of photos that I can’t wait to show you. I learned a lot about photo editing this week. I love manipulating a photo to mean something different, tell a story, or appeal to a certain emotion. It is something that I intend to continue after camp.

I love the Daily Creates this week. Mainly, because I love photography. If I really had to choose a favorite, it would be my Out of Focus photo.

The picture is of my grandfather and April, the rescue dog, that my grandparents adopted.       My grandfather is not widely known as an animal lover, however, watching him with April is amazing and heart-warming. He will sit in his chair and pet her or take her outside to play fetch. The picture is evidence that certain animals come into our lives and change us in some way, big or small. So far, this week has been a good learning experience. And I can’t wait to learn more.
