Random acts of kindness

When the topic of Wikipedia came up in class today, I immediately thought of this video, and I wanted to share it with everyone*. It’s a little long, but I found it well worth the time.

To me, Wikipedia proves that sometimes, people might not be as worthless as they act. As the honorable Jim Groom put it this evening, Wikipedia “proves we might be a lot smarter than we think we are.”

*My interweb know-how is pretty basic, so I’m trying to figure out how to embed a video. If this doesn’t work, the title of the video is “Jonathan Zittrain: The Web as random acts of kindness.”
