Here’s my photo for today’s Daily Shoot assignment.

“Pretend you’re a stringer for your local newspaper today. Make a photo that captures something newsworthy to you.”

Honestly, I really didn’t like today’s prompt. I didn’t know what exactly was considered newsworthy- especially in a place like Fredericksburg. I’ve been sick all day so I only went out of the house to go take an exam so there wasn’t much exploration or chance for inspiration. Finally when I took my puppy out for a short walk this evening I knew what I would take a picture of- the gorgeous weather. For so long now it’s been cold, wet, windy, and just plain miserable outside. Today was completely opposite in every way. The sun warmed your face as soon as you stepped outside and the sky was a beautiful shade of blue with wispy clouds strewn across. I tried to capture that feeling of warmth and beauty in my picture. It was definitely an amazing day and made me want to go to the park or go hike and just ignore everything but mother nature for a little bit. Unfortunately my migraine had other plans.
