So for my group’s radio program we have decided to do a show entirely surrounding the music and arts festival Bonnaroo, which takes place every June in Manchester, TN.  I am really excited about this because I love music and this year I am actually going to attend Bonnaroo so I is something that I am really passionate about.  The bands are going to be awesome this year because it is ‘Roo’s 10th anniversary, which will only add to the fantastic experience that is Bonnaroo.  We almost done with our 5 minute section for Thursday’s class and things are coming along nicely.  I think we have found a nice balance between music and discussion that the audience will really like.  Doing the whole 30 minute program is going to be a little more difficult because people, including myself, seem to underestimate how long 30 minutes actually is and to fill that whole time slot with an appropriate balance of discussion and music is going to be a tricky thing to accomplish.  But I’m excited for the challenge.  I’ll let you guys know how it goes.
