Invisible World

Talk about a hiatus – sorry team.
This challenge is from Worth1000, a Photoshop contest where winning isn’t the goal – it’s about getting better at image editing.  It’s called “Invisible World” and the idea is to edit a photo and take the people out. I was pretty intrigued by this idea and decided to give it a stab.  I haven’t really Photoshopped since Jim Groom‘s class in Spring 2010 so this was a refreshing jump back into the game and I already have a lot of ideas for some more challenges.

This was a super fun project, I’ve never done anything like it before.  The hardest part was the chain-link fence and getting the wires to match up.

I’m really proud of this picture, and I definitely want to do another one of these.

The image is from flickr user Neo_II and is located over here.
