Mashups ā€˜nā€™ Stuff

I wanted to share a few of my favorite mash-ups/remixes that I’ve found online. My favorite by far is a “remix” of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by a DJ named Brad Neely. Called “Wizard People, Dear Reader”, it’s basically a series of audio files that are synced so that they can be played over the movie. If you have a night to spare, and own the movie, I suggest muting it and playing the file. I promise that you won’t regret it. Wizard People, Dear Reader

In music, my favorite mash-up by far is an album produced by a DJ Cappel and Smitty (I’ve never heard of them either) called “Blue Eyes Meets Bed Stuy”. The album mixes the Notorious BIG with Frank Sinatra, and the result is pretty spectacular, if you’re a fan of either of them. Here’s my favorite track from the album:
