Just when I thought this class couldn’t get any weirder, I watch Ms. Oblivion getting ready for her brief appearance on ds106tv. I really think she’s high or something when she gets on, based on her speech patterns and that perpetual stare of hers. And who is the person in the hat next to her? Could it be our own Jim Groom? You can see a “NY” logo at around timeframe 2:41. When Jim finally takes back the stream, I’m given proof that the hat is indeed his, because the hat you see at 2:41 and the one Jim is wearing is the same color, and appear to be the same shape in the front (kind of smooshed back from lots of wear). You also see the person’s right shoulder, and the color of this individual’s shirt is also the same as Jim’s. The person’s skin tone also is very similar to, if not a match for, Jim’s. Exlain yourself, Mr. Groom. We’re all waiting.
Cue “More” tag…
– As I was typing this, the “technical difficulties” can on and scared the living s*** out of me — I had the volume turned up to about 70% so I could hear Ms. Oblivion. (bleep!)
– ONE-HUNDRED AND TWO MINUTES?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That’s almost as long as Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance (which, by the way, I plan on watching again after You Are (Not) Alone this weekend). But we already talked about that, Mr. Groom. I’m forgiving, and it’s early in the evening, so I can watch it
– Mr. Groom, you’re side of the audio is much quieter than the person skyping in. Is there a way to make yourself louder?
– For Todd — I’ll take a risk and say all anime have Japanese songs. I started listening to that kind of music when I was 12 or 13, I’ve never stopped loving JPop, JRock, or any of that stuff. In fact, I’ve been listening to this and this for three days straight thought Grooveshark, which is an awesome tool for sampling albums.
– I’d like to point out that I’ve seen more of those “I don’t own any of this” disclaimers on fanfiction.net than anywhere else. In fact, that’s usually all that’s there as a disclaimer, right at the start of each chapter. There’s over 1,000,000 (pseudo-citation) stories up on the site, and I’ll be brave and make an assumption and say that all of them have a similar disclaimer.
That’s enough for now. Until next time!
