It’s customary for one to introduce themselves in the first blog.

How are you doing. My name is Arianna.

Naturally I’ll follow the custom. This isn’t my first blog, in fact it’s only one of many that I seem to have networked my way into. Keeping up with a blog is harder than you might think. So much can happen in one day and yet there can only be so many words to express it all. No- or maybe I’m just too lazy to express it all. Lucky you….perhaps. -in the sense that you won’t have to be reading about my everyday nonchalance.

Thus the title of this blog. “Learning Something New”. Because I suppose, as classmates, we’ll all be learning something new together. We’ll all be taking this proverbial adventure through Cyberspace and Society, familiarizing ourselves with the inner workings of the world wide web. Or so I expect.

Of course then you might be thinking something like “I know the web like the back of my hand”

I know that’s what I’m thinking.

I know the web. But….I don’t know anything about the web.

And thus……from this point on I will be learning something new
