Here is a video that I have created from a few clips I took of this afternoon.

I originally took these shots because I was working on the daily create, (make a 5×5 video, daily clips, only natural sound).  I ended up making this instead.

It might seem weird to people watching it, as it shows a lot of repetitive bathroom, bedroom, and stairs shots.  To me, it represents sort the the whole idea of my final project – capturing the essence of a day.  The afternoon was spent hanging out with a friend that will be moving to Florida in May, and it was nice to sit around with her for a while, in our little house.  The shots of the bathroom and stairs are so familiar to me and somehow so comforting, and having them documented is sort of nice.  I sped up certain parts to represent how quickly the days move, how automatic certain things are (like going up and down stairs) and the slow shots sort of represent how slow things might seem, but in reality they are going so quickly.
