I found Linda McKenna’s Forrest Gump assignment to be very creative! Forrest Gump was one of my favorite childhood movies. I remember being so excited to go to my grandma’s house because she had the movie on VHS.  I feel like this amimation really displays Forrest’s personality. He is completely distracted by the ping-pong ball floating by. I can imagine him sitting there reminiscing back to when he played on the Army Ping Pong team. I think that this can be considered a digital story that is a part of a larger story. This GIF animation could not possibly tell the whole story of Forrest Gump, but it did help me recall many Forrest Gump scenes.I love the movement that she chose for this animation!
