Wow, done with video. I still think audio rates at the top, but video wasn’t so bad.
I learned how to work in Adobe Premiere and actually liked it. I think I may invest in some adobe software now. I’ve been using the free trials because they last just long enough for my purposes in this class. It’s also come in handy for other classes.
I did four video assignments:
one-five stars: The trailer/silent era was the hardest assignment I think I’ve done thus far. It sucked all of my energy for the day and took about 6 hours to complete. It’s still not as perfected as I would want it to be.
two-four stars: The Redub was fun, I love A League of Their Own. I know I had planned to use Remember the Titans but then I decided I love the “there’s no crying in baseball!” scene so much more. And I was obsessed with this movie and watched it almost every night through middle school.
three-two stars: The Lip Sync! the most embarrassing out of all the assignments. But it was the most fun. I love Betsy Q and I love to rap (although I’m not very good). Betsy Q is also a lot cleaner to rap to than the Lonely Island. In an ideal world, I would have redone the video to Jizz in My Pants. Instead, I lip sync to I Say No, a rap about saying no to drugs.
here’s the video since this was my favorite of the week:
four-five stars: tutorial for Pegs. How to make a twitter. I think my mom would be hilarious on twitter, except she uses too many exclamation points and question marks for emphasis. Her facebook statuses are humorous as well, so twitter seems logical. I learned I am NOT good at multitasking (thanks for the lesson within the lesson, ds106).
Each one presented difficulties in a unique way but the elf trailer was BY FAR the hardest. It also happened to be the one I decided to do first. Woops! Overall, the weeks were pretty uneventful. I did lose the first copy of the elf trailer I made but I easily made another one because I already knew what to do. I can’t wait to see what next week has in store!
