Five Card Story: The Magnificent Mint Green Rabbit

One fine spring morning, a young man named Ryan woke up to find that there was a new and important announcement coursing through the veins of the internet. On this very day, Apple was to release a new unnecessary gadget for the world to fawn over. Ryan, easily excited about such things, quickly made his way to the nearest Apple store.

When he arrived, savings in hand, he found the doors to be firmly locked, a crowd forming. While Ryan waited, he noticed that some nearby people were keeping themselves entertained by riding on a Merry-Go-Round. Ryan, also apparently easily excited about Merry-Go-Rounds, decided to go have a ride while he waited. Now while Ryan was clearly easily excited, he was NOT a risk taker and decided that he wanted to ride one of the animals that did not move up and down.

While he walked around the outside of the Merry-Go-Round, his eyes fell upon a magnificent mint green rabbit. He climbed up and the ride began. It was better than he could have ever imagined. He began to feel content and happy, totally safe, when he looked up and noticed a creepy pale gentlemen taking pictures of him from afar with a long lens. He looked away, tried to ignore the photographer, but it was no use. Each time he looked up, there he was, snapping away. Totally freaked out, Ryan disboarded and fled to the mountains, forgetting totally about his would-be Apple gadget.

As he ran, the photographer rejoiced that the annoying fidgety man riding the magnificent mint green rabbit he was trying to photograph had finally left. Yep.
