The picture on the left is me with my then new puppy Libby in 1995.

The location on the picture on the left was the house of a family friend who no longer has that house, so I couldnt recreate the place.

Libby passed away in 2004 and since then I’ve had Caitey, who turned six in October. They are both golden retrievers.

By the time she was 1 year old she Libby was the same darker brown color that Caitey is on the right.

I’ll probably always want to have a dark golden retriever – haven’t been without one in a long time.
