After listening to Gardner Campbells presentation and reading his article on open education I must say that I agree with his thinking and I am interested in watching and participating in this “educational revolution”. Out with the old and in with the new, Im excited to see how this idea would play out when the ball starts rolling and this becomes a higher education standard throughout different learning institutions. The whole idea of give and take I believe would be more beneficial to the students as well as proffesors; more than the norm of doing an assignment, having it graded, with little or no feedback, and then having that work lost in your archives so to speak. If this method of learning were to take place the students would learn from students as well as the teachers and vice versa. His comparison to Little Big Planet was dead on, because we as students would be able to share have others get into our world and in return we would be able to do the same, and more importantly learning would become fun which would draw more people to want to learn and keep their attention. This was a good look into the future of education.
