Spubble Bubble

My very own Spubble.

At the time of the picture I was enjoying a long awaited cup of my most favourite purin parfait, sold only at ministop. I was so absorbed in the deliciousness of my treat that I hadn’t realized that my friend was taking
snap shots of me. I finally heard the shutter, and just as I looked up she managed to snap another picture, to my surprise.

I took this photo, actually, and editted it in photoshop mostly because it’s a method that I already know.
All I had to to was use the speech bubble found under the shape tool. I scaled the bubble to a suitable side, filled it with colour, an lowered the opacity before adding plain white text on top.

I feel like my face captured a ‘whatever, you’re lying’ moment, as if someone were saying something that is not meant to be a joke, but somehow became laughable.

Example: “Did you hear her talking yesterday? She said she fell into the toilet and had wait stains all over her pants. It looked like she had an accident.”

This is actually a bit of a serious issue if you think about how ‘she’ probably had to continue her day with stains on her pants but you can’t help but laugh because at the same time it is somewhat funny. hence:

“Omg shut up! she did not say that!”
