Where to begin… “I’m not as think as you drunk I am”….classic. I couldn’t help but laugh when the host of the story would pause and say…”but, I was like that too.” It’s evident that State College and the local communities priorities differ when dealing with drinking. The student body is having all of the fun while the community is left to clean up the party cups. I feel sorry for the woman who has the flourishing flower bed, however porta potties would solve the problem of public urination. Use your heads people, adapt.
The fact of the matter is that most young adults in the u, s of a drink to get drunk. This whole issue of how to solve the drinking problem reminds me of the war on drugs, in that its not a war because wars end. People are never going to stop drinking, but perhaps the way people drink can change. It’s like when your parents tell you not to do something, and you feel inclined to do it anyway “drinking age 21,” but if they let you drink in the house “drinking age 18″ all of a sudden its not a big deal. Think quality not quantity. #1 Party School
