So I’ve started off by playing with the appearance of my blog… and I’m having a blast… it’s just pure endless fun… I didn’t realize there were so many to choose from… I was able to get my avatar image up as the header which was great though I couldn’t avoid cropping off my left toe. I’m currently messing with the themes…. And I added the word blavatar to my dictionary today… can’t wait to use it on some poor innocent soul…

next I worked on a couple of widgets… my absolute favorite so far is the calendar… YAIYAAH! I have a crazy summer going on right now… loaded too much on my plate… and this calendar not only tells me the day it is but also highlights the days that I have blogged… awesome… and then I added a few more like Meta… Recent comments… I have to go back and forth and renew page to see where they are landing and how they look… having a clutter free page is essential to me….

I added some plug-ins as well based on Dr. Ob’s suggestions…. But I’m not “feeling” them yet… if this was not a fast paced summer course then ideally I would like to work with one or two for a while and really “own” them … or not… and then move on to new ones…

There is a certain state of avarice that overcomes you when you are presented with these wonderful options…
