This actually was more troubling than I thought it would be! The tutorials definitely helped, but I guess I expected it to go more smoothly. First, I accidentally registered for two different domain names. Woops! I don’t know how I did that. Then when I bought my webhosting account, the e-mail I received with my login information gave me the wrong username. That made my login attempts fail constantly. I e-mailed the Cast Iron Coding support people and they gave me my REAL username. After those shenanigans, pointing the domain to the webhost and creating my blog flowed pretty easily. I have to admit, all of this is really new to me. My computer knowledge pretty much stops at basic computer programs I created in high school. As far as the Internet goes, I guess I’m fairly sheltered. But from what I’ve done so far, I think what’s going on is that CIC is the webhost that lets me edit my site, even though my actual site is through Hover, which is why I had to point my domain to CIC. Baby steps!
