I started this assignment by changing the appearance of my blog. I added a background and changed the main picture to Eminem. I also embedded the Not Afraid music video into my last post. I figured out it is very easy to embed youtube videos because all you have to do is copy and paste the link since WordPress knows what to do with certain links.

When it comes to plugins, I installed subscribe to comments, akismet, twitter tools, google analytics and a weather widget. The only problems I ran into was that I don’t have an API key for the akismet plugin and the weather widget was only displaying the weather in London, England so I deleted it. I think it is cool how I can link this blog to my twitter and whatever I do on my twitter we be displayed in both places, and I can even tweet from my blog.
