I set up this blog last week but never got around to making a post about it, which is what this is now. Two weeks into the semester and the procrastinating is well underway.

First, I installed my theme and customized it with pages and menus, the whole thing. That process took a good hour or two. Picking a color scheme is very serious business. Then, I somehow broke everything, deleted everything, recreated everything, reinstalled my theme and customized it again. That process took another two hours along with a ten-minute near-crying almost-tantrum. The final result is, well, this.

So far, there’s really nothing on here except a lovely, easily navigable menu with links to things such as my twitter, flickr, YouTube & SoundCloud accounts. Also, there is a short bio. On the sidebar, you’ll find a slideshow of pictures from my flickr account and my twitter feed, and at the end of each post is a “Tweet” button and an e-mail notification feature. I’ve also installed Akismet and JetPack. A Daily Create section is on its way.
