TDC #17: Show us your keychain and tell us about the keys and things you have on it.

In this video, I talk about the things on my keychain. Notable moments: my time turner from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, two out of three of my siblings are featured (the third is only 4, so she’s not in school yet and therefore does not have a keychain…she’s absolutely adorable though and we have a video planned for the near future) & the one of the many paintings of poppies is in the background.

TDC #18: Record a short video that shows an object in motion.

The story behind this video is, I was sitting in Studio d’Esthetique, a salon downtown, providing moral support for a friend because of reasons, when I saw the mini disco ball ornaments hanging in the window display. I knew the Daily Create assignment for the day was to record an object in motion, so I figured it was the perfect opportunity. Then commenced my awkward, subtle but not that subtle attempt to take a video of the window display. For this experience, I learned two things. One, read the Daily Create assignments at the start of the day, then look for opportunities. Two, when record a video or taking a picture on your phone in public, either don’t do it or go for it and don’t care who’s watching, because it took about 10 takes and a lot of uncomfortable eye contact with people walking by outside and looking in the window.

TDC #20: Take a photo where movement of the camera creates an interesting blur effect

tree lights

I took this picture when I went to Christmas Town at Busch Gardens over winter break. I didn’t mean for the picture to be blurry, obviously. It was just very difficult to take pictures on my phone with mittens on. Luckily, I saved the picture anyway and was able to use it for this Daily Create assignment. The tree though. It was completely wrapped in lights from the trunk to every little branch. Christmas Town at Busch Gardens was one of the prettiest things I’ve ever seen.
