Today’s daily create assignment was to take a picture of something upside down that is not normally seen that way. I knew I wanted to do more than take a picture of something and turn it upside down, so I tried to think of what to photograph. My favorite subjects – animals – weren’t going to work for this one. My first thought was turning a bicycle upside down, but the only bike I had access to was locked.

My thoughts then turned to food (I was hungry, okay?!) and I came up with the idea of turning over the table and chairs in my apartment. Then of course I had to set the table, also upside down.

This is why I like to take all day to ponder the daily create, because if you’re mulling it over all day you never know what strange inspiration will come to you!
