So if you’re like me you never hesitate kill a spider when you see one, and I have feeling Peter Parker was probably the same way. He was just really lucky he didn’t see the spider that gave him awesome super powers! Anyways, to make this one I didn’t have to Google anything either. Using GIMP again I actually started with an image of a different demotivational poster. (The one with a stormtrooper at the table saying “Those were the droids I was looking for”–that one his hilarious!) Then I added my image of a dead spider, and covered the old image with it. Then I used the color selection tool to exactly match the black and paint brush over the words. And finally I used the text layer tool to add my own text. Not a bad solution to make a legit demotivational poster.
