In-Class Assignment: Mulan’s Postcard

In class on Wednesday, we were asked to get together in groups to create a postcard from an imaginary character. We chose Mulan from the Disney movie, selecting the scene in which she is abandoned in the snowy mountains by her commander, who just discovered that she’s a girl. Between two other classmates and myself, we put together this postcard. Tiffany designed the front side using Piknik:

Mulan

Angie designed the back and the stamp, I love how it turned out. She used GIMP to create the background and the text, and made the stamp in Piknik:

mulan postcard - back

And I wrote the message from Mulan. Fun project and definitely a different way to break the ice with new classmates!
